Sweetest Scalloped Christmas Tags

Hi friends, this is Caitlin and today I am sharing a duo of super cute tags that I made using a few of the new items that came out last week. I cannot get over how cute the Oh My Garland Stamp Set is and I had to use it again for these tags. I started out by stamping the gingerbread house and the little gift wrapping elf with the Asphalt Premium Dye Ink and then picked out my pattern paper while they dried for a few minutes. I went straight to the Merry & Bright Paper pad and decided to use two different colors of the small dot pattern. Because the papers are double sided, the back of the tags are automatically cute as well.

I colored the images up to match the pattern paper colors the best that I could with Copic Sketch Markers and then used the coordinating dies to cute them out. I used the Layered Scallop Square Dies to cut 2 scalloped layers of each polka dot paper and two stitched squares with Pebble Card Stock. I used the Ez Squeeze Liquid Glue to adhere the two scallop layers together first, so that the scallops line up all the way around and then added the stitched layer on top. Before I adhered the image to the tags, I used a Glue Pen to add thin lines of glue here and there and then sprinkled Ice Rink Super Fine Glitter over them, tapping off the excess onto a piece of scrap paper and dumping it back into the jar.

I stamped out the small sentiment on the bottom of the tag for the elf with Barbershop Premium Dye Ink. Then I added the glittered images to the tags with Foam Tape for some extra dimension and then used a hole punch to on the corner of each one to turn it into a tag. I added some twine to them and there is still plenty of space on the backs where you can add a little note or “to: from:” if you want. I really love how sweet these are and these images are so much fun to color.
