Sweet Penguin Treats

Happy Tuesday! Katie here today with a fun and tasty cup of Cheer for you today! I had a lot of fun making this card using various elements. Read on and I’ll share how.

I started by stamping images from the Cup of Cheer stamp set with my Asphalt Ink, using my Misti. Next, I colored the images using my Copics and Olo Markers. Then I cut these images out using the coordinating Cup of Cheer Die Set. After adding some white gel highlights, I set these images aside. Next, i used some of the Merry and Bright Paper Pad and cut out my Mod Stitched Mini Slim Dies. I wrapped some red twine around this layer and mounted this on a white base using my EZ Tear Tape. I then used Snowflake Emboss & Cut Folder with white paper, made some of the bigger flakes blue with Distress Oxides and then affixed them together. I then used Foam Tape to mount the flakes on the base and the images on top of the flakes. The final touch was to add one little pearl from Essential Pearls to a cookie.

A complete supply list is at the bottom of this post.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t totally sure I was going to like how this turned out, but by the end, I was really happy with it. it is fun, festive and has a bit of flair to it. I hope you like it too!
