Surprise!!

Hello friends and welcome back! Today, I’ve made a sweet birthday card using one of my favourite techniques..emboss resist!

I used the super cute Special Gift Stamp Set. This set is from the March release and will be available soon! Due to the pandemic, production and shipping has been dramatically slowed. Please hang in there 🙂

This set has a large background stamp that I clear heat embossed onto a white cardstock panel. I cut the centre of the panel with the second largest Arch Tag Dies. I placed the Mask It Heart Stencil onto the tag and ink blended a rainbow of colours. This revealed the cute pattern of the stamp!

On the negative portion of the card front, I used a light blue ink. I adhered the blue portion to a white card base. I then cut 4 more of the tag die out of scrap, white cardstock and adhered them all together to create a fairly thick tag.

I clear heat embossed the tiny bow, also from the Special Gift set and used three different colours to blend overtop. I fussy cut each bow and used foam adhesive to attach them.

I stamped and fussy cut the sentiment as well and used foam adhesive to adhere it.

I just love this technique! How about you?

Thanks for stopping by this morning! Stay well!

Laurie
