Sparkly Snowflake Background

I’m in full Christmas mode in my craft room! I just love this time of year! The October release from Pink & Main is FULL of all things winter and holiday! The Bold Snowflakes die set hasn’t left my craft table!

I just love that winter means I can break out my purple blue inks and create “chilly” looking backgrounds! I blended a piece of cardstock with Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, and Black Soot Distress Inks. I love this blend for winter! I think it looks like a wintery night sky!

I love the Bold Snowflakes dies from Pink & Main. Especially the two larger snowflakes! I die cut a bunch of them from some Ice Rink Sparkle Sheets and pieced them all over my inked background. I wish that I could have captured the true sparkle of these Ice Rink Sparkle Sheets die cut snowflakes! It’s truly fabulous!

I finished off the card by die cutting the Bold Christmas dies from a navy blue cardstock five times and stacking them together to create dimension. And that’s it! I just love the Ice Rink Sparkle Sheets against the dark background! Thanks for joining me!

  1. So pretty! Did you blend with a brush or sponge tool? Love Pink and Main products. Thank you.
