Sorry Sweetheart

Hello Everyone,

It is Zsofi here today with you, I made a card which shows how to use the lovely Pattern Maker stamp set in your scene building.

I started with a piece of kraft cardstock cut to fit an A2 sized card front. I used a Stitched circle die to make an arch with partial die cutting. I cut the straight line with a craft knife. Don’t worry about your cut line if it is not perfect, we will cover it up later. I stamped 2 of the striped patterns from the Pattern Maker stamp set using Surface inks: The Park, Construction and Street light. I love how they stamp on kraft! I wanted to add some stitching lines with a black marker, so I simply used a T-ruler to add the dash lines. I also added that stitching around the circle cut out using the die as a guide.

When my pattern was ready, I stamped and coloured a cat and a dog from the Catitude and Diggity Dog stamp set using Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also die cut a grass border and a thin strip of gold sparkle cardstock to cover up the cut line of my partial die cutting.

The sentiment is a die cut Sorry, cut 4 times and stacked together for more dimension. I also stamped Sweetheart from the Hello Friend stamp set, I felt it goes so well with that romantic scene.

To finish off the card, I added a bit of clear shimmer to the flowers and glossy accent to the scarf.

I hope you like my card and got inspired to try this technique. A stamp positioner definitely helps to get a perfect result. Happy crafting!

Zsofi
