Hi Pink and Main fans,
I am sharing today a heartfelt card made for a dear friend who lost a loved one recently. Sometimes you need a card for such an occasion, and I’m thankful to have these wonderful stamps and sayings.
- I used watercolor card stock and Distress inks to achieve the sunset look. I just started at the bottom with the lightest color and kept blending, switching colors and applicator sponges, till I got to the darkest at the top (Distress inks used: Antique Linen, Victoria Velvet, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot).
- I used the So Sorry shadow die and cut it out. I then stamped the So Sorry scripted word on black card stock and embossed it silver. I placed it behind the cutout. I also stamped various sized stars from the Grad Owl set and embossed those with black embossing powder.
- I added some star rhinestones and the sentiment on the inside is from the set Flower Bouquet Greetings.
