Sneak Peek- Beach Home Tweet Home

Hi friends! This is Caitlin from Caitlin Annalee Cards and today I am sharing a sneak peek at the Home Tweet Home Stamp set that is coming with the new release on Friday. I love this stamp set and all of the fun different bird houses you can create for your card. I instantly fell in love with the little beach house image and I knew that I wanted to create with that one first. I love how easy this set makes it to create a whole scene with some very easy layering. I started out this card by stamping out the branch twice, the beach house and the bird.

I colored in my images with Copic markers using a really fun and bright primary color scheme and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. To create a background for everything, I used the Mod Stitched Mini Slim Dies to cut out a panel of Ice Rink Card Stock and got my Lakeside Premium Ink ready. I used the Cloudy Day Stencil to create an ink blended background by shifting and rotating the stencil around and blending down the panel. I wanted to create a warmer card base than plain white so I cut a piece of Pebble Card Stock down to be 6 in x 7 in and scored on the longer side at 3.5 in to create a mini slimline card. I added the stenciled panel on with the EZ Squeeze Glue and then it was time to start adding in my scene elements.

I laid out all of my stamped and die cut images to make sure I would have room for the sentiment under the bird house. I stamped the sentiment with the Lakeside Ink so make sure that everything looked really cohesive. I added both branches and the bird house with liquid glue and then I popped up the bird with Foam Tape. I love how this card is a full sweet scene but was so easy to put together. I can’t wait for you to see the rest of the release on Friday and don’t forget to come hang out with me live on Facebook or YouTube Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 PM eastern.
