Smile – shaped card

Hi,

I am here again with card where I used Distress oxides for background. I used Smile stamp set. Here is short how-to:

1. glue watercolour paper 6 inch x 6 inch to some piece of MDF (or any kind of firm heat resist material) with masking tape
2. stamp sentiment with Versa Fine onyx black and use clear embossing powder to make sentiment more resist against water
3. cover whole paper with water and tap into it Distress oxide inks
4. use heat tool to dry it
5. take some stencil for bokeh effect and white pigment ink and make bokeh background over Distressed background
6. use some tiny brush to make some splatters to activate Distress oxide – it is better to make it after bokeh, it looks better
7. use Stitched Circle Dies to finish your card

When you use darker Distress oxide inks, effect will be better. For my smile sentiment is lighter colour better.
