Slimline Snowman Card!

Good morning and happy Friday!! Laurie with you this morning to share a card that I had SO MUCH FUN making. I combined new and old products to create this cute, slimline card.

This card measure 3.5 X 9 inches and will fit in a standard business sized envelope. I don’t make many of these and I’m starting to wonder why! I inked up and coloured all the snowmen from the Snow Sweet Stamp Set (this was released last year) and used the co-ordinating dies to cut them out.

I inked up a white panel of cardstock, which was cut to 3.25 X 8.75 inches, with a few Distress Ink colours. I took some white acrylic paint, mixed with water, and did a whole bunch of splatter. While that was drying, I die cut the smallest snowflake from the new Bold Snowflakes dies out of white cardstock three times. I thought these would fill in some of the space nicely.

I created a hill using one the dies from the Scallop Waves Die set. This die won’t cover the entire length of this size card. To remedy that, simply die cut once, then line up the die again. You may have to snip a couple of areas, but all in all it turns out great! I used foam adhesive to attach the snowbank to the bottom of the inked panel. Then using a combination of foam and liquid adhesive, I attached all the snowmen.

To make the sign, I used the smallest die from the Stitched Rectangles Set 2 dies, stamped a sentiment from the new Holly Jolly Sentiment Set and added it to a strip of cardstock that I coloured brown.

To finish, I added the snowflakes, some white gel pen details and some Crystal Stickles to the snowy bits!

I hope you enjoyed my card for today! Thank you for stopping by and have an amazing weekend!

Laurie
