Sending Love Notes

Hey everyone. It’s Dana here with you today. I’m so excited about the July release and I can’t wait to share my card with you today. So let’s get started.

For my card I used the newly released Pen Pals 6×6 paper pad. This paper pad is full of beautiful designs for all of your cards. I love the muted color palette of this paper pad. The shades of gray in some of the designs keeps it both masculine and feminine. I ran a piece of the envelope paper through my die cutting machine using the new Postage Dies. I adhered that to a white card base. Next I used one of the dotted lined papers from the same paper pad and used a smaller postage die so I could layer it on top of the envelope piece.

Before I popped up my smaller postage die I stamped a cute sentiment from the Sent With Love stamp set. This stamp set is sooo gorgeous with all the different fonts. And how wouldn’t love a card that says it’s not a bill. LOL.

For a finishing touch I added a few Nuvo drops in coordinating colors. This card is really clean and simple yet it has a lot of punch from the paper. The Pen Pals paper pad is full of designs that you can mix and match to create endless card designs.
