It’s hard to capture in a photo just how good a flocked card feels!
Hi Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, and I have a card from you that you almost certainly didn’t expect from me! Bright, bold, fuzzy and orange!!!
I started this card with a piece of white card, which I covered with some Pink and Main Adhesive sheet, and then cut with the Diagonal Cover Die. I then removed the sticky release paper from the individual strips and covered them in Flock with Glitter, pressing it on well. The extra powder just shakes back into the jars. The colours I used for the stripes were Sparkling Santa’s Hat, Sparkling Monarch and Sparkling Chickadee.
I then glued all these stripes back together onto a piece of card just smaller than the stripes. I mounted this onto black card to make a thin border, then mounted this panel onto some orange card that I’d cut using the Notched Corners die. The sentiment comes from the appropriately named Sending Cheer stamp set. The small rainbow comes from the Unicorn Wishes stamp set, and I coloured it in just yellow, orange and red to match the flocking powder.
That’s all for today’s card. It feels fabulous, and it’s certainly bright and cheerful,
Until next time, may your days be sunny.
Blessings
