Mexican Hot Chocolate

Happy Tuesday! Back again for more Christmas fun? You bet you are! Today I have a fun nutcracker card for you and it features some fun blue and gold. This card is perfect for linking up to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Blog Hop.

This card features the fabulous Mugs and Kisses Stamp set. I stamped the image using my black ink and colored it with my Copics, using Y13, Y15, YR23, B24, B26, RV20. E00, E02, E15, E13, E11, E35, G09, G03, R35, R14, C7, C5, C3, C1 and then added some white gel pen hilights. I used the Mugs and Kisses die to cut my images out and placed my cinnamon stick in my cocoa. Next, I used the Blizzard Stencil with my Mini Ergonomic Blending Brush on white cardstock with some Blueprint distress ink. I cut that panel to 4 X 5.25 and mounted it on white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on some cardstock from the Preppy Brights Paper Pad and cut it it into a strip. I mounted that on the layer using the EZ Tear Tape. I mounted the nutcracker using foam tape. The finished touch was adding some Sparkle Gems using glue dots.

What do you think? I’d much prefer this guy to hold my cocoa instead of crack my nuts. LOL. I like the fun blue and gold, it is a nice color combo and fun to mix it up for the holidays. I hope you like it too.

Have fun visiting the shop, FB and IG for more inspiration and be sure to check out the Coffee Hop too.

Thanks for visiting today! ~ Katie
