Yes please!!!! That’s my wish for everybody! If we could just sink into peace, love and joy, I know that life would be rosier! It’s Donna here from donnaisplayingpaper, now writing from the very back blocks of Australia. We’re living in a little fishing and holiday village for the rest of the year, and life is peaceful here.
I have a soft peaceful card today with all the colours of the sea. The main feature of the card is a beautiful big hello die, aptly named Big Hello Die! I cut this from white paper and coloured it with my Copic markers in blue greens, in ombre style. I then layered this up onto another piece of white card, s that it was two layers high.
The sweet flowers come from the You stamp set. I stamped the smaller of the floral images and coloured it with the same copic markers, adding some greens for the leaves. The background is the fun Dotted Cover die. By using both parts of the die, I was able to make this textured background.
The smaller sentiment is from the Namaste Stamp set and is stamped and heat embossed in white onto black card. I do love a black element on all my cards! Finally, some Unicorn Pearls finished off the pearls. I love that these have two colours on them, so I was able to pick a pearl that matched both the flowers and leaves of the image.
