Patterned paper play

Hello Everyone,

It is Zsofi here with a cute card I created with the July release goodies. Sometimes when we have a bunch of pretty patterned papers, a nice sentiment set and a little die, it is enough to make a quick card. Today’s one is a good example for that.

I flipped through the Pen Pal patterned paper pad and choose the one with the cute girl, trimmed it down and matted it with aqua cardstock. This will be my focal panel.

Then I cut strips of a grey patterned design too, matted them with the same aqua cardstock.

Finally I die cut a postage stamp from pink cardstock and heat embossed a sentiment from the Sent with love stamp set on it with white embossing powder.

I assembled the card and popped up the focal panel and the postage stamp with thin 3D foam tape. I also stamped a sentiment from the Sent with love stamp set above and under one of the grey strips using aqua ink.

I used a glitter pen to add details to the T-shirt of the girl, a shimmer pen on the envelopes and glossy accents on the hearts. I finished this simple design with a few iridescent sequins.

I hope you enjoyed this easy card design and give it a try too. Until next time, happy crafting!

Zsofi
