Owl Be Missing You Card

Hi there!  Annie back with a sneak peek of some new stamps that will be available soon in the Pink & Main Store.  The soon-to-be-released “Sweet Pair” set features cute images and sentiments perfect for love and missing you cards like this one.

To start, I stamped my images on some Copic X-press It Blending Card and colored them with Copic markers.  After die-cutting the the image with a simple circle die, I layered this over a heart doily cut from dark brown cardstock.

I chose a coordinating piece of patterned paper from my stash and matted this with some of the same dark brown cardstock.  Underneath the doily is a strip of two ribbons layered together to help draw attention to my focal point.

Next, I added a sentiment stamped in pink pigment ink and heat embossed in clear (from the same “Sweet Pair” stamp set).  The label shapes were created using two different punches.  To finish off the card, I adhered a set of clear sequins to the empty corners.
