It’s time to kick off our monthly challenge for July! Our challenges begin on the second Friday of each month, and each month will have a different theme. We hope you’ll use it as inspiration to create a card!
This month’s theme is: Ocean!
Let’s take a trip to the shore for a little vitamin sea – but from the comfort of our craft spaces! This month we are asking you to create an ocean-inspired card to play along with our monthly challenge. It can be the view from the seaside, or something out of the ocean depths. Whatever ocean-themed subject sparks your fancy, put it onto a card and join us!
Pink & Main products are encouraged on your challenge card, but not required. We just want to see what this month’s theme inspires you to create! You can enter your cards for this month’s challenge in one of two ways: in the Inlinkz link-up at the bottom of this post, or in the July album in our Pink & Main Creations Gallery Facebook Group. Enter for a chance to win a Pink & Main store credit worth $25.
Submissions close on Wednesday, August 6 at 11:59pm ET. The winning entry will be selected randomly and posted with the next new challenge blog post.

Hi! My name is BreAnn and I am so excited to be joining the Pink and Main challenge team! I began cardmaking in 2014 and I have been hooked ever since. I own and operate a small business, The Ink Stand, with my husband from our home in Indiana. Since 2023 I have been working behind the scenes helping a few other professionals in the industry as their link ninja. When my fingers aren’t inky you can find me watching hockey or reading a book.

Hi I’m Michelle Ruelle. I live in NH with my kitty Daisy MaeMae. I have been a cardmaker since 2000. I love coloring with my Copics and using pattern paper on my cards. I’m definitely a paper junkie. Most of the cards I make are donated to a Senior Charity. If you wanna talk cardmaking 24/7, I’m your girl!
Michelle’s sweet card takes you right to the coast! She colored images from Smooth Sailing, and paired them perfectly with the Nautical Fun Paper Pack.

Brennan’s under the sea creation features the adorable Let’s Make Waves stamp set and dies. We love the wonderful background he created for his colored images!
Dominique’s card is full of ocean-sized FUN!! She used several fun products together for this flamingo extravaganza, including The Three Flamingos Dies, Cheers Word Dies, Cocktail Dies, Card Cut Essentials Set 1, and Mermaid Seas Paper Pack!
Here’s another sweet card featuring the flamingos, this time from Jennifer. She also used the Beach Waves in the background!
And finally, another card combining the Smooth Sailing stamp set with the Nautical Fun Paper Pack and Beach Waves Embossing Folder. Rosie’s great card rounds out this month’s inspiration!
