Monthly Card Challenge #14: Color Challenge – Red/Pink

It’s time to kick off our monthly challenge for February! Our challenges begin on the second Friday of each month, and each month has a different theme. We hope you’ll use it as inspiration to create a card!

This month’s theme is: Color Challenge!

We’re challenging you to create a card using the colors of February’s biggest card-giving holiday: red and pink! The theme doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day – just use our love-inspired palette. Any shade of red and pink counts, and the interpretation is totally up to you. However these colors spark your creativity, put them on a card and come play along in the challenge!

CHALLENGE RULES!

  1. Pink & Main products must be used on challenge entries.
  2. Cards must be a NEW creation, created specifically for this challenge.
  3. Enter as many times as you’d like.

Enter your cards for this month’s challenge in one of two ways: in the Inlinkz link-up at the bottom of this post, or in the February challenge album in the Pink & Main Creations Gallery Facebook Group. Enter for a chance to win a Pink & Main store credit worth $25.

Submissions close on Wednesday, March 11 at 11:59pm ET. The winning entry will be selected randomly and posted with the next new challenge blog post.

Now let’s check out the inspiration from our Challenge Team!

Bea’s sweet card is pretty in pink! She combined the Flurry of Fun stamp set with the gorgeous pink background she created!

Brennan created a beautifully colored pink Jar of Peonies for his card this month. We love the green Pocket Full of Posies Embossing Folder in the background.

We love Dominique’s interplay of the Love Always dies with the Sweets For My Sweet stamp set! And how fun is that Sparkles Embossing Folder background?

Jennifer picked the perfect pink animals for her Color Challenge card, using The Three Flamingos Dies! She paired them with the Mermaid Seas Paper Pack, which has lots of pink options throughout.

Michelle decided to pull in red glitter paper (from this pack) to kick off her cardmaking, then combined it with an adorable image from the Hap-Bee stamp set colored perfectly for the challenge!

Rosie made a Cool Drink To Go that looks absolutely delicious! She embellished with some strawberries from the Berry Pop Up Card Dies set, added a message from Berry Happy, and matted it all on the perfect paper from the Bugs & Berries pack. So fun!

We loved seeing all of your wintery creations from the January challenge! We randomly chose a winner from all of the entries – congratulations to Kathy Schweinfurth! Kathy, please send us an email to support@pinkandmain.com to claim your $25 store credit!

Now it’s your turn, we hope you’ll play along! You have until Wednesday, March 11 at 11:59pm ET to add your link to your NEW CREATION FEATURING PINK & MAIN PRODUCTS using our theme to be eligible for the prize of a $25 store credit. (Cards created prior to this challenge are not acceptable entries.) The winner will be chosen at random, so everyone has a chance! Simply post your card photo someplace with public access – a blog, social media post, or host site that displays your entry – and add it into the Inlinkz link-up below. OR, add it to the February album in the Pink & Main Creations Gallery Facebook Group.

Good luck and have fun playing!
