Mistletoe Christmas Tag

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here and I have a tag to share with you. I made a tag for the 25 days of Christmas tags, and once I’d made one, I couldn’t stop! This tag features a sneak peek of one of the lovely embossing folders that are soon to be released.

To make the tag, I used Pink and Main’s Arch Tag Die I cut one white tag, and a border tag in Maroon. To do this, I taped two tag dies together.

I then added the houndstooth texture to my white tag using the soon-to-be-released Houndstooth Embossing folder. I’m so excited that embossing folders are making a comeback. I love how they can be used to add texture without busyness. I’ve tried to take a couple of photos that show the dimension that the embossing folder gives.

The main image is from the Mistletoe stamp set. I stamped this in Memento Ink and then coloured it with Copics. I then cut this out with the matching Mistletoe die, and my Mini Maker from the Maker’s Movement . This little machine can sit on my desk without taking over and I use it for my smaller cutting jobs.

One of my favourite ways of doing ribbons on tags is to use a small piece of fine string to tie a bow around the ribbon. You can see that in the picture below.

I hope you have enjoyed this little tag, and that you are finding peace in your own little part of this earth.

Until next time,

Blessings,

Donna
