Good Morning Friends! Are you surprised to see me on a Thursday? I usually post on Sundays, but with this Sunday being Easter I thought I would share on a different day this week. I hope you all are doing well and staying healthy.
Today, I am sharing a card that uses the Gorgeous paper from the Enchanted Garden Paper Pad. Typically I start with my stamps and stamping, but today I made my card in reverse. I knew I wanted to use this paper to create my card design so I started there. I created my card panel by layering a few different patterns that coordinated well together. That is one thing nice about using a paper pad, you know that the colors and prints will coordinate. Next, I stamped my vase and flowers from the Gorgeous Vases Stamp Set. I colored the flowers with Copic markers and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
Next, I used a Stitched Rectangle Die to die cut my white rectangle. I needed to add the white space to my card front to anchor my stamped image and so it wouldn’t get “lost” in the patterned paper. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment from the Just Because Stamp Set and die cut it with a Sentiment Strip Die. This is such a great set of sentiments, perfect for adding to cards right now.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my card. I also wanted to wish you all a Happy Easter! If you are like our family, your Easter will not be “typical” this year. We will be home with just our immediate family, doing our part to stay healthy. Take care my friends and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.
