January Pup By Joy Baldwin – Pink and Main Blog

Hey crafty friends, I used the January Pup stamp and die for my project today. It’s such a cute image and I used alphabet dies to create the fun sentiment. Hope you enjoy it!

I decided to color the pup and sentiment using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. So I stamped the image with black ink and colored the pup with Brown and Beige, the flowers are colored with Oatmeal, Wine Red, Pink, Dark Pink and Mid Green. I used the coordinating dies to cut the pup out.

For the background, I inked in the center using a teal color. Then I used the Grid 6×6 Embossing Folder and dry embossed the inked background, then trimmed the panel slightly smaller than A2 size.

The sentiment in the stamp set says “I woof you”, so I decided to use the Thin Alpha dies and spell the word “woof”. I cut them out three times and adhered them for dimension and colored them with the Zig markers. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set with black ink and only used the “I” and “you”. I adhered all the image and the sentiments on the inked background.
