Hello friends – Bri here! Today I am sharing a Valentine’s Day card design featuring the January Pup Set from Pink and Main. This stamp set is perfect for any dog lover! Keep reading below for more details on how I made this card full of love.

I decided to keep the background super simple by ink blending the Woven Stencil onto the card front and heart as a fun texture overlay. I used Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink with the card front and I used Worn Lipstick with the large pink heart die cut. For an extra splash of love I used Abandoned Coral Distress ink to create a fun, splatter effect onto the background.

The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder onto pink cardstock and then die cut with the outline die included in the January Pup Coordinating Dies set. I distressed the edges of the sentiment die cuts with Worn Lipstick distress ink before gluing them to the card front.

Next, I colored the puppy image with my Copic markers. I colors I used are listed at the end of this post. I decided to color the roses with red, pink, and teal colors just to add a fun pop of blue to the card. Once I finished coloring the puppy and the bouquet, I used a white gel pen to add details to the image. Then I used foam tape to attach the dog to the center of the heart.

For an extra touch of color I added blue and green enamel dots from the Floral Hearts Glitter Enamel Dots for embellishment.

Thank you for stopping by the blog. I really hope this project inspires you today!
