Honey Bee Shaker Card

Hello Pink and Main Fans!

I’ve got a cute birthday shaker card to share with you today and it’s filled with teeny tiny honey bees! The upcoming Pink and Main February Release is so much fun and the new stamp set called “Berry Sweet” is soon to become one of my faves! It’s got multiple bear images, bees and a hive, and strawberries galore – the punny sentiments are adorable!

A top-folding A2 card base was trimmed with thin strips of striped paper on each side. The images were stamped, watercolored and die cut. The shaker was created with a honeycomb shape by die cutting a frame using the Nested Hexagon Dies. The hexagon was die cut from two different Pink and Main pattern papers and the small dotted paper from the “All Occasion Florals” Pad was glued onto a panel of 130# white card stock measuring 3.75″ x 5.5″. An acetate panel was attached to the back of the frame and thin pieces of foam tape were added. Ten tiny bees (and yellow shaker bits) were piled onto the hex die cut and the frame was pressed into place on top. This shaker panel was glued onto the card base.

The bear and bee hive images were attached with foam tape. I heat embossed the sentiment from the “Spring Sentiments” Stamp Set and die cut it with the new “Fish Tail Sentiment Strip” 0.5″ Width Die Set. I popped the sentiment up with foam tape and positioned it under the bear’s foot to finish up the card! I just love all of the bees flying around inside the shaker element!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! You can always find great inspiration on Pink and Main’s Facebook and Instagram Pages!

Be safe and take care! Rachelle  @redcre8s
