Hi!

I think this would have to be the shortest blog title I have ever used!!! It’s Donna here, from Tokyo, Japan, and also from donnaisplayingpaper. Long readers of this blog will know that I’m not usually that concise! I have a pair of really fun cards to share today that use all dies to make.

The flowers were cut (and embossed) using the Spring Flowers Emboss and Cut Folder. I grabbed a bunch of scrap pieces of card and cut a bunch of flowers. (Many more than you see on these two cards – it turns out that these are addictive!)

The Hi comes from a really clever die set called Layered Scallops. It has borders, scallops, sentiments, hearts in different sizes – everything! Check it out here. (Then come back and keep reading!) I used a piece of navy cardstock and cut the ‘hi’ carefully from the middle of it. That way I could use both the positive and negative of the die!

The final touch was some enamel dots. These cards were made from the dots in the Cloudy Day collection. I keep a stash of these on my desk – enamel dots make it to almost every card I make!

That’s all for today. Although this blog is done, I’m still making cards with this combo because it’s so much fun! Until next time, stay crafty!

Blessings,

Donna
