Have you checked the brand new release?!? I am loving the new Emboss and Cut folders. And this month we have the Butterflies one.
To make today’s card I embossed and cut the butterflies from white cardstock. I used only one of them and saved the rest for future cards. I applied dark blue ink using the small ergonomic brushes towards the center and lighter towards the perimeter of the butterfly. To create more contrast I used white pigment ink and a brayer and applied it on top. This gave me lighter color on the raised areas and darker in the groves.
Next, I stamped sentiment from the new Butterfly Trio Stamp set on black cardstock and embossed it with Frosting embossing powder. Die cut with the coordinating die.
Next I embossed piece of white cardstock using the Buffalo Plain cardstock and trimmed to 4″ x 5 1/4″ Assembled the panel and adhered to a black note card.
