Hello Sunshine

Hello, sunshine! It’s time for a sneak peek of the Pink & Main June Release! I used new stamps, dies, and a new embossing powder on this happy summer card.

I’m in love with the upcoming Pink & Main release! So many fun summer things! I chose a couple of my favorites and dove in. Let’s start with the background. I brushed a piece of cardstock with my Pink & Main Magic Anti-Static Brush and stamped small sun from the new Flocks of Love Stamp Set and all over the card front with Pink & Main Embossing Watermark Ink. I sprinkled on some new Ray of Sunshine Embossing Powder and heat set the images. I love this powder! It’s the perfect lemony/sunshine yellow with GLITTER!

I knew I wanted to use the new Hello Sunshine Word Dies, but I wanted to add more than just one color of cardstock. I cut 1/4″ strips of The Park, Dress Shop, Lakeside, Night Sky, and Barbershop Cardstocks and adhered them to a piece of scrap cardstock. I cut the word “hello” from the striped papers, the word “sunshine” from Construction Cardstock, and the shadow from white cardstock. I glued the sentiment onto the shadow and added foam tape to the back and set it aside.

My card needed one more thing … a cute summery critter! I stamped a flamingo from the Flocks of Love Stamp Set, colored it with Copic Markers, and cut it out with the Flocks of Love Coordinating Dies.

I added my sentiment and image to the center of my card with foam tape. I used a shimmer pen to add some extra glitter to both of them and that’s it! I’ll see you soon!
