Hello Shaker Card

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, and I’ve made a shaker card to share with you today, sharing just a little of our next release. Did you know that we don’t really say plaid in Australia? We call this pattern checks! So if you see this word, please feel free to read it as plaid if you’re more used to this word!

To make this card, I started with a couple of paper from the new Enchanted Garden paper pad. I used the yellow and green check for the background, and a bright purple/pink for the sentiment. Don’t you love the new alphabet dies? You’ll be seeing a lot of these from me, I’m sure.

The tone on tone yellow background was made using the Plaid 3 stamp and embossing it in clear onto yellow paper. I then adhered a rectangle of check paper into the centre of my homemade checks.

I constructed the shaker using the Reverse Scallop Rectangle Dies as my frame. I love the detail on this stamp and the way the scallops direct the eyes into the middle.

The shaker elements are from my stash, and are a mix of sequins from about four different packs. I glued the word “HELLO” to the front of the window, which I made from some leftover stamp packaging.

I hope that you’re enjoying the new release sneak peeks (I’m confident you are!) and I look forward to sharing more of this fun release throughout the month.

Until next time,

Blessings,

Donna
