Hello Friend

Hello Friend, indeed! It’s Donna here and I have a super fun, super fresh, and super tall card for you today. I’m absolutely loving the slimline dies in this month’s release, and I’ve got another to share with you today.

This card was made entirely from dies from the new release, and just a couple of enamel dots. Let’s start from the back and work our way forward.

The card base was made by cutting a piece of card to 7” by 8.5” and scoring it along the length to make a 3.5 by 8.5 card. On top of this I layered another piece of white paper which I die cut using the Sympathy Slimline dies. I used the flower dies from this same set to cut some flowers using pink, purple and green card.

The repeated ‘Hello Friend’ sentiment comes from the Blessings Slimline dies set, and I cut these in the same bright colours. As well as this, I cut the same sentiment 8 times from white card, leaving the centres of the letters intact, and securing them at the back with a line of double sided tape. You can see the details of the letters in the white. The photo above show this detail.

Finally, added everything to the base. The flowers are popped up with foam tape for dimension, and the enamel dots and hearts from the Enchanted Garden enamel shapes completed the card.

I hope you have enjoyed this bright fun card, and that you are having a great day, wherever you are.

Until next time,

Blessings,

Donna
