Having s’more fun over here!

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, and I’ve been playing with the upcoming release. What a lot of fun we’re going to have in October! There are some great interactive elements coming! For today I have a pair of cards using the Stamp of the Month. I’ve been doing a bit of a series with these the past few months, adding them to inkblended backgrounds in all kinds of formats. Let’s see what we have today!

The stamp set of the month this month is called S’more Fun, and you can subscribe to either just the stamp, or to the stamp and die set each month. while we’re talking dies. have a look at the amazing die cutting on this first card. I would NOT want to cut those babies by hand!

I stamped and die cut the sweet little marshmallow from the S’more Fun stamp set colouring him with my Copic markers. To make the background, I first masked and ink blended a square onto my cardstock. Once I finished inkblending I ran the card through my die cutting machine with the new dotted triangles embossing folder. The sentiment is from the same S’more fun stamp set, and it also has a matching die, I lightly blended some light brown ink onto the outside of the sentiment so it would stand out against the white background. Isn’t the texture fun? I took an extra photo so you could see it.

For the second card, I used the soon-to-be-released Wide Stitched Arches Dies to cut out my ink blended background. I also added a little sparkle to the background with some shimmery spatters. This time I blended blue ink over the sentiment, using the same colours that I used for the background.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed these cards, and I look forward to sharing more with you soon. You can see and shop the whole new release from October 21 here

Until next time

Blessings,

Donna
