Have a dino-mite day!

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!

I’m am so excited for 2017 to finally be here. And what better way to kickstart this new year than with 3 new cards?!!

I decided to make these card Clean and Simple (CAS). Because cards don’t have to be complicated or overly detailed to still be cute and fun.

Sometimes choosing the right colors to match may be a little difficult. Whenever I’m in a color matching rut, I simply go monochromatic. Choosing colors in the same color family simplifies my options. No more worrying if a certain color will complement or “go with” another.

Building elaborate scenes were not in my cardmaking cards today… So instead, I opted to use my flags be their ground and make them look as they were marching across of those. And for skies (or implied skies- LOL), I simply scattered stars (this would also work with hearts or even sequins).

For these dino cuties I used the Dinomite stamp set. Great set for Boys or girls! This set also works well for Birthdays, Valentines, or simply Just Because.

For the card base, I used Stitched Rounded Rectangle Dies. I used the 2 largest rectangles from this set to make the card mats. I love  how deep and detailed the stitch lines show up. They are always cut out crisp!

And there you have them!! 3 Adorable cards in not time flat!!
