Ilina here! I can’t believe it’s already December and Christmas in approaching very fast and with that also the New Year.
I wanted to take a little break of Christmas preparation and make a New Years card using the new Happy New Year stamp set and also play with the new inks.
To make the card I started with an A2 piece of white card stock and positioned it in my MISTI along with the stamp. Applied The Park ink on the bottom part of the stamp and using soft cloth I softened the edge, so I have nice transition when I stamp with the second color i.e. I don’t have sharp edges, and stamped. Next I applied Lakeside ink to the middle part and again using soft cloth I softened the edges on top and bottom of the inked strip and stamped. Last, but not the least I applied Barbershop ink on the top part of the stamp, softened the edge with soft cloth and stamped. Next using Asphalt ink I stamped the Wishing You A sentiment.
Once I was done with the sentiment, I trimmed the panel to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added Just a Note Glimmer enamel dots.
To finish it off I adhered the panel using foam tape to a Navy top folding note card.
