Handmade with Love and Glitter

Hi friends, this is Caitlin and today I am sharing this super fun sneak peek featuring lots of new products and lots of sparkle. I am so in love with the new release coming out on Friday and every product is perfect for year round crafting! I started this card by picking out the Ink Blot Stencil which is so much fun and I knew right away that I wanted to make a glitter paste to use with it. I grabbed a panel of Ice Rink Card Stock (3.75 in x 5 in) and used the Dress Shop, Construction, The Park and Lakeside Inks to ink blend over the stencil. I used a very light hand to keep the colors very soft and made sure to overlap them to get additional rainbow colors.

I removed the stencil and rinsed and dried it off and then replaced it and got my glitter paste ready. I scooped out some Glossy Gel onto a palette and shook in some Ice Rink Super Fine Glitter. I mixed it well with a Palette Knife and then applied a thin layer over the whole panel. I set this aside to dry and got to work on the images to add to it after. I stamped out the two small jars and splatter from the new Oh Craft Stamp Set with Asphalt Ink and used the same colorful inks from the background to stamp out the Handmade with Love sentiment in a rainbow ombre. I tapped each color on with a small brush to make sure that the colors were blended and in proper placement.

I colored the jars with Copic Sketch Markers and used the same small brushes as before to ink blend the splatter image to match. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and the sentiment (love that). Once the splatter panel was dry, I added it to an A2 sized panel of Blue tone on tone paper from the Year Round Dots and Stripes Paper pad with liquid glue. I added the sentiment and images on top of that with foam tape and I just love how sweet this whole card is. I could ink blend and glitter paste this stencil over and over.
