Grateful and thankful

Hello Everyone,

It is Zsofi here with a very decorative die cut card featuring goodies from the September release. I love the Faux Glass look on cards, and after a spring one I have made a Fall one too.

I started with die cutting the Quilt Square 2 die first from kraft cardstock and then from Green Glitter sheet. I layered the frames on top of each other and adhered them to a white top folding notecard.

Then I inserted the stitched panels from the kraft cardstock and added a bit of colour the leaf using Copic markers. I used green and yellow shades.

I covered the holes with glossy accent, which took long to dry but it was all worth the waiting: the result is a shiny bright leaf looking like glass. so pretty. I need to try to do this technique on thick acetate too.

After it was all dry, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Fall sentiments stamp set on the bottom with Antique Gold embossing powder. If you feel your card is warped tiny thanks to the big amount of glossy accents, put it under heavy books for a night and it will flatten it out.

I hope you liked today’s inspiration and you will pop in again soon for more!

See you,

Zsofi
