Glitter Rainbow!

Welcome back!! Laurie here with you today to share the sparkliest card I’ve ever made and it makes me so happy!! Unfortunately, I have to apologize for the photos of this card. Glitter and sparkles are SO hard to capture!

Pink and Main now has glitter cardstock and it is beautiful!! I thought it would be fun to create a sparkly rainbow. So I die cut the rainbow from the Rainbow Dies Set out of Salon Sparkle, Construction Sparkle, Gold Sparkle, The Park Sparkle, Lakeside Sparkle and Night Sky Sparkle Sheets. Because this die is one piece, I can literally make 6 rainbows in different colour combinations!

To make the rainbow one solid piece, I glued each arch onto a scrap of cardstock, then trimmed around it.

So pretty, right?? I wanted to keep the background of the card simple as this glitter rainbow is quite bright! I added 1 inch Post It Tape around the card front. This will create a nice frame for some ink blending.

I used a nice grey/blue ink to make a nice sky background.

It was at this point that I decided to add a sun, clouds and hearts. I used the Gold Sparkle, Salon Sparkle and the Ice Rink Sparkle Sheets. I added foam tape to the rainbow and added it to the card base.

The sun was glued directly to the card front and the clouds with hearts were glued to the rainbow.

The sentiment comes from the new Just Because Stamp set and was cut out using one the Sentiment Strip Dies. I obviously skipped any sort of embellishments!

I hope your day is all sunshine and rainbows!! Thanks so much for stopping by!

See you soon!

Laurie
