Hello friends! Justin here, and, today, I am sharing a fun and foiled card using the new Silly Santas stamp set! This card also has some CheerFoil going on with the new Holiday Foilables Background, Sparkle Green Cheer Foil & the Ombré Foilable Panels Set 1!
Below is a complete list of products that I used to create this card:
Pink & Main Products Used:
Silly Santas Stamp Set
Silly Santa Dies
Winter Greetings Dies
Holiday Backgrounds Foilable Kit
Sparkle Green CheerFoil
Ombré Foilable Panels Set 1
Merry & Bright Paper Pad
Stitched Rectangle Dies Set 1
Stop Sign Cardstock
Ice Rink Cardstock
EZ Squeeze Adhesive
Foam Tape
Mini Minc Foiling Machine
Other Key Products Used:
Copic Markers
Now let’s get into the details for how I created this card!
I started by coloring my santa from the Silly Santas stamp set with Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut him out. I set him aside for later.
Next, using the Winter Greetings dies, I die cut the sentiment “Merry Christmas” from Ice Rink Cardstock, and the shadow shape from Stop Sign cardstock. I used liquid adhesive to adhere my Ice Rink letters on top of the Stop Sign shadow die, and also set this unit aside for later.
To create my foiled background, I used the Green Sparkle CheerFoil on an A2-sized piece of the Christmas Tree pattern included in the Holiday Backgrounds Foilable Kit. Then, using the negative of the CheerFoil, I transferred it to the Green Ombré Foilable Panel and used the 2nd largest die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies Set 1 to get an exact shape. I then used the largest die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies Set 1 to die cut a lime green and white polka dot patterned paper from the Merry & Bright Paper Pad, and adhered the foiled panel directly on top.
Using Foam Tape, I adhered my Santa image and “Merry Christmas” sentiment, and finished off my card by applying some red glitter enamel dots and adhering my panel to an A2-sized card base.
