Crafter’s Delight- Sneak Peek

Hey Hey, another Tuesday coming your way. Katie here today with a sneak peek of this week’s upcoming release. This one is a crafter’s delight!

Inanimate objects with faces you say? Yes Please and these are about as cute as they get! This card was so fun to make. Of course because it has the whole rainbow in it, but also because of these supplies and shapes.

This card features two soon to be released stencils featuring spattered spots and other ink or coloring shapes as well as two new stamp sets with coordinating dies called Crafty Pals and Oh Craft. I started by using the stencils by masking the different shapes and added distress oxide colors with my Mini Ergo Blending Brush. After I had added them all, I spritzed water on this, dried it and set this aside. Next, I stamped the images from the two stamp sets mentioned above and colored them with a combo of Copics and Olo Markers.

Let me pause here to say, that I love Copics, but my lids have been cracking a lot lately and they don’t work and Copic won’t replace them, so I have bought ALL the Olo Markers from the P&M shop and they work fantastically and I can use them together as well.

Next, I cut out these images with the coordinating dies and added some white gel highlights. I decided on my placement, but before adhering them, I stamped the sentiment. Then I tore around the edges of this layer, which goes well with the sentiment “oh Craft!”- haha! I used foam tape to pop up my images. Next, I used foam to pop up this layer on the white base and bam!

I have to say, I wasn’t sure where I was taking this when I started, but I am happy the way it turned out. And really, I often wonder what the hell I am doing, so “oh craft” is appropriate. I hope you like it too.

Please check out the P&M IG, FB page and YT, and then you can head to the shop to pick up your new goodies on Friday.

Thanks for visiting! ~Katie
