Foiled Birthday Wishes (Sneak Peek)

Hi friends! I am so excited that it’s sneak peek week again and today I am sharing a bright and shiny birthday card featuring some new supplies. I new that I wanted to combine some of the new stamps with the foils that were released earlier in the month. I started out making my foil background first by using the negative from another foiled card. I used one of the Small Dots Foilable Panels with the Glitzy Silver Cheerfoil, which I will use in a future card, and then I ran the left over foil with the dots missing through with one of the pink panels from the Rainbow Toner Sheets pack. This gives a reverse print and shows off way more of the foil which is what I wanted for my backer panel on this card. To balance out all the shine and pull in more pink, I cut a panel of pink pattern paper from the All Occasion Florals Paper Pack and layered over the middle of my foiled panel.

Then it was was time to play with some new stamps! I stamped out the girl holding balloons image from the new All About You Stamp Set that is coming out on Friday with the Asphalt Premium Dye Ink . I set that aside to dry for a few minutes and stamped out the Happy Birthday sentiment from the same stamp set onto a scrap of white card stock that was prepped with the Magic Anti Static Brush. I melted the Detail Clear Embossing Powder over black ink for some shine and dimension and then cut it out with the coordinating die. I colored in my stamped image with Copic Sketch Markers and gave her teal, yellow and purple balloons to add more color to the card.

I added the sentiment to the card with liquid glue and popped up the image with foam tape to help her stand out. I decided I needed some embellishments to bring in the balloon colors even more so I grabbed Enamel Dots from a few different sets and added 2 of each color, coupled up around the card. I think this release is so fun and happy and I can’t wait for you to see the rest!
