Hi crafty friends it’s Joy here and I have a colorful card for you today using Watercolor Gems and Cheer Foil. I love foiling things and I’m having so much fun with the Water Gems Sparkling Watercolors, so I decided to combine them for a colorful card. Hope you enjoy!
I spritzed a piece of watercolor paper with water and then sprinkled on the Water Gems at the top of the paper, I spritzed it with more water so it would run down and the colors would slightly blend together. I would tap the excess water and color off with dry paper towel. I used Sunny, Flamingo, Caribbean, Emerald. I put this aside to dry and trimmed it down.
After it dried, I used the Pretty Butterflies Embossing Folder and ran it through my die cut machine. The butterflies look so pretty on the colorful background. I added a piece of gold mirror cardstock as a mat behind the panel. I adhered it to the white A2 card base.
I cut out the “hello friend” sentiment from the Full Bloom Foilable Kit and used Gold Cheer Foil to foil it in the Minc machine. I popped it up with foam tape and added some sequins from my stash.
