Hey y’all…Annie back again with a clean and simple masculine card made using the soon-to-be-released stamps from an adorable set called “Best Fishes”.
I really enjoyed coloring this little scene and I knew I would be giving this card to my husband, so I kept the focus on the cute image and left the rest of the design simple. The sentiment is also part of the same “Best Fishes” set.
After coloring the little boy in with Copic markers, I outlined the whole image with a light grey marker to make it pop off the page a bit. I also added a few ripples in the water to give it a little movement.
Once matted on some scrap green cardstock, I popped the whole panel up on top of some kraft-colored woodgrain cardstock using foam tape and added a few twists of off-white jute.
