Fall Place Cards

Hello crafty friends, It’s Joy here and I have a fun project for you today. I created Fall place cards (inspired by my friend Bobbi Hart) with cute images from the Fall Mice stamp and die. I also created an embossed background using the Leaves embossing folder, which adds a fun textured element to the design. I hope you enjoy!

I started by stamping two of the four mice images (twice) from the Fall Mice stamp set with black ink and white cardstock. I used Copic Markers to color them. Mice – W1,3,5,6 R20,30. Pumpkins YR15,16,07,09. Flowers Y08,19 YG63,67. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I die cut two sizes of rectangles from the Layered Rectangles A2 dies, the larger one from orange cardstock and the smaller one from white cardstock. I used the Leaves 6×6 Embossing Folders with the orange cardstock pieces. I love the texture that an embossing folder gives. For the white rectangle, I used Morning Ink from SSS and lightly ink blended a small area. This will be where the mouse image will sit.

I used two sentiments on each place card, the larger one is different on all four. I stamped them with black ink, using my Misti. I popped the cute mice images up with foam tape for dimension. I added some Copic marker (B91,60) for a grounding effect. Then added the panel to the orange panel and finished the images with a black glaze pen and a white gel pen for highlights.

Now you can place these on the plates of your guests. I hope you enjoyed this project. Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Joy Baldwin
