Fa la la Llama

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, and I’m excited to be taking part in the collaboration between Pink and Main and Thermoweb. We have a week long lineup of projects for you, as well as prizes to be won. See below for details of the prizes from both companies!

Today, I’ve combined the Fa la Llama Stamp set and Holiday Scene Dies from Pink and Main with Flock Sheets from Thermoweb to bring you my Llama scene today.

I first stamped and coloured the cute Llama with Copic markers. I have the Flock on the desk in front of me while I coloured so that I could match the colours to the flock. I then cut this image out with the matching die. I’m so glad I didn’t have to cut under the ribbon on the gifts by hand!

Next, I set about creating the background scene with the Holiday Scene Dies. I cut the hills, trees and house with the dies from a piece of cardstock to which I had attached a piece of double sided adhesive. I then placed the adhesive face down on the flock, and rubbed with a bone folder. There are many ways to attach these sheets, but this is the one I went for. When I peeled off the backing of the flock, the pieces were nicely coloured and beautifully fluffy! The colours I used for this card were Ruby Red, Teal Waters, and Tuscan Gold.

I attached all the elements with glue, except the Llama, which I popped up with foam tape. I then layered the scene onto a card with some light pool coloured cardstock, and the card was complete.

This is such a different look for a card, with the flocking, and I have to say, the card feels fabulous! I keep stroking it! Now, onto the prizes! We have TWO prizes to be won! Here is what you’ll need to do, like BOTH Therm O Web AND Pink & Main Instagram page and Subscribe to our YouTube Channels.
