Easy No Coloring Card with Cardstock Strips

I am SO excited about the yummy colors of cardstock just released from Pink & Main! I wanted to create a card that would focus on how well all 6 colors pair together, and these strips of cardstock did just the trick!

I started by taking all 6 colors of cardstockDress Shop, Construction, The Park, Lakeside, Barbershop, and Night Sky – and cut them into quarter inch wide strips. I thought about varying the widths, but decided to keep them the same. I marked the center point of my card and started adding the cardstock strips. I staggered them across the top of my card in a way that mimicked dripping paint.

I stamped one of the floral clusters form the Sketched Florals Stamp Set onto white cardstock and cut it out with scissors. You could color this beautiful image, but I wanted the focus to be on the colors of the cardstock strips, so I left it uncolored. I popped it up with foam at the top of the card and used scissors to trim off the excess.

I finished the card by stamping a sentiment near the bottom of my card from the Sketched Florals Stamp Set. And that’s it! Thanks for joining me!
