Easter Eggstravaganza

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, and I have a pair of Easter themed cards for you today.

These cards use a real mix of techniques on the various eggs. Firstly, and most simply I used the Easter egg die from the aptly named Easter Egg Dies set and cut a few eggs from either patterned paper or from sparkle sheets.

Some of the eggs were cut from plain white cardstock and then ink blended in colours to coordinate with the other eggs. I spattered some of these with water for a speckled effect.

Finally, some of the eggs have been stamped using the (again, aptly named) Easter Eggs stamp set and coloured with Copics. I then arranged the eggs on some Kraft card that I had cut to slightly smaller than a standard card size, and wrapped in crochet thread.

In this card, I have bundled the eggs and used the Happy sentiment, cut three times from white cardstock and layered up. The word Easter comes from the Spring Sentiments stamp set.

For this second card, the eggs are looking very regimented, and the sentiment is from the Spring Sentiments set, and was cut with the Sentiment Strip dies. I wonder which you prefer?

I hope you enjoyed these cards. Until next time,

Blessings,

Donna
