Ilina here! Today I am sharing a birthday card using the Party Animal stamp set and coordinating dies and I paired it up for the Year Round Plaids Paper pack. It’s my birthday today, so I thought birthday card is in order 🙂
To make the card I started by stamping the image on watercolor paper and embossed in clear embossing powder. Watercolored it and die cut using the coordinating die. Set aside.
Next I cut a piece of watercolor paper to A2 side and cut the bottom under angle asymmetrically to create more interest. I stamped the sentiment to the right side parallel to the edge.
I adhered a piece of the patterned paper to the bottom of A2 top folding note card. I added couple layers of scrap cardstock on the back of the sentiment panel to add dimension (or you can use foam tape) and adhered to the note card.
To finish it off I adhered the image. (I did the same for the image – I used 3 die cuts and stacked them up, again you can use foam tape of foam squares).
