Butterfly Sketches Plaid Inlay

Hi it’s Lynnea! I mixed stamps, dies, and papers from the upcoming Pink & Main release for this pretty butterfly card!

I started by card by cutting the new Plaid Cover Die Panel A from white cardstock and kept all the pieces. I planned to do a bit of stamping and inlay. This die is perfect for all kinds of inlay techniques since the majority of the pieces are large. I picked my favorite butterfly from the new Butterfly Sketches Stamp Set and stamped it with a crisp black ink onto the large squares surrounding the center square. I reserved the center square for a cute little script “hello” from the Butterfly Sketches Stamp Set.

I adhered the frame portion from the Plaid Cover Die Panel A onto a card base and started inlaying my pieces. I popped up the squares which had stamping and originally had kept the rest of the card white, but it was missing something. A pop of color of course! And what color is happier than pink?! I used the Plaid Cover Die Panel A die to cut a piece of patterned paper from the new Butterfly Kisses Paper Pack and inlayed the outer pieces into the negative places on my card. I even kept those teeny tiny pieces at the top and bottom of the card!

I love how this card came out! I hope it gets you excited about the upcoming release from Pink & Main! It will be available on May 20th! See you then!
