Bright Side

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today to share a card I created using Pink and Main’s stamp and die set named, Bright Side. This is such a happy set because it’s full of rainbows!

There are a few steps to creating this card. I started off with a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and used the Clouds stencil with some distress inks to create a varied cloud background.

I stamped out a bunch of the images in the stamp set, including the clouds, rainbow and sun. For these images, I decided that I wanted a softer look for the card, so I did some no line coloring with some colored pencils.

Once I had all the images colored, I used the coordinating dies to cut these out and I was ready to go with putting this card together.

I wanted to create a inner frame on the background so I had a focused area for all the images. I pulled out the Stitched Rectangle Set 2 and used two of them to create a stitched frame.

Once I had the frame, I placed them to my liking leaving some space for the sentiment. I really like how soft the entire feel of this card is but the pop of color comes directly from the window.

Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
