Hello friends – Bri here! I am back today to share some sweet treat holders featuring the S’more Fun set from Pink and Main. Keep reading below for more details on how I made this cute and easy projects.
I found the instructions to make this simple treat holder here. The tutorial even includes video instruction! I decided to make my treat holders a bit wider to fit the s’mores images so I cut my brown cardstock to 3.5″ x 11″ strips. I distressed the edges of the cardstock with Vintage Photo Distress ink. The score lines are all still the same.
To cut the treat opening I used a rounded rectangle die approximately 2 5/8″ x 1 3/8″. This opening fits a wide variety of candies including mini Twix bars and a small bag of M&M’s. Check out the photo below to see inside of the the treat holder.
The front panel of the box measures 2.5″ x 3.5″. I layered the front panel with a 2 1/8″ x 3 1/8″ piece of dark brown cardstock and a 2″ x 3″ piece of colored cardstock embossed with the Dotted Triangle Embossing Folder for some added texture.
The sentiments are stamped in dark brown ink onto white cardstock and die cut with the new Extra Large Sentiment Strips. The sentiments are attached to the treat holder with foam tape along the bottom edge. This way the top panel flap can be tucked behind the sentiment to keep the treat box closed.
The adorable s’mores characters are colored with Copic markers. The colors I used are listed at the end of this post. The s’more playing in leaves was stamped on an approximately 2 1/4″ circle and layered with a dark brown 2 1/2″ Zig Zag Circle die cut.
To finish the treat boxes I embellished them with the orange and red glitter enamel dots from the Pumpkin Season Glitter Enamel Dots pack.
