Birthday Treat Box

Hi everyone, it’s Michelle here.  Today, I have a variation of a birthday card – a birthday treat box. I love making 3D paper projects like these because it’s like a card and a present all at once! Who wouldn’t love that, right?

To start off, I printed a template for a pillow box as large as I could on an 8.5×11 sheet of Kraft cardstock, like the one below. The solid lines are cut lines and the dashed ones are score/fold lines. It is so simple! I’m sure you geniuses can figure it out just fine 😉

After that comes the fun part – decorating! I used some awesome products, including the Pink & Main Birthday Wishes stamp set, American crafts gold glitter tape, and some scrap pieces of patterned paper. Any opportunity to pull out my scraps and put them to use is very welcome!!

I especially love that some of the words in the sentiment I chose are outlined so I could try some ombre coloring with Copic markers.

Here’s a quick look at the back, which I just filled in with some confetti and streamer stamps that are also in that stamp set.

This little box is perfect to fill with any little treats you have for a quick and easy birthday present!
