Best Friends Forever Sneak Peek

Hi friends, this is Caitlin and today I am excited to be sharing a sneak peek at this month’s new release! I am loving this Valentine’s/Galentine’s themed release but I think these products can be used for year round love and friendship cards. We colored two of the images from the new Galentine’s Stamp set on the Live Stream on Tuesday and I wanted to use these color coordinated besties to make a sweet, pink card. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the Copic colored image as well as the sentiment which I stamped with Asphalt Ink.

To create a background for them I grabbed the new Loopy Hearts Foilables and used the Mini Minc Foiling Machine to foil it with the Lots of Love Pink Cheerfoil. I love how fun and whimsical this pattern is and I think the negative image is going to look very sweet too. I trimmed down that foiled panel and inch on each side so that it measured 3.25 x 4.5 in and glued it to a piece of Ice Rink Card stock that there was a very thin mat on the top and left side. I trimmed the right side and bottom to match and then added foam tape to the back. For my main panel I used a pink and purple bokeh paper from the Fun Pastels 6×6 Paper Pad trimmed down to 4.25 x 5.5 in and added it to a side folding A2 card base.

I wanted the colored image to stand out even more from the foiled background so I also added some foam tape to it and the sentiment and added them to the front. I love this sweet card and that it could be for Galentine’s day or could be an anytime friendship card. If you want to see another Galentine’s Stamp Set and Foil combination card, you can come hang out with me on Thursday at 8:30pm eastern on Pink and Main’s YouTube Channel or Facebook Page.

  1. Caitlin your card is gorgeous! I love that there is a stamp to make Galentine cards. I would love to send my friends cards for V-Day. That paper pad is beautiful…love those bokeh dots. Love your design and the shine on your card. I’m hoping Santa brings me a foil machine next week!

Also, I am commenting here because your link on the Hop isn’t working. I’ll keep trying though but wanted to see your card. Truly inspiring! Thanks for sharing!
