Hello Pink and main friends. It’s Donna, and I have a fun fishing card to share with you today. Do you have a fisher in your life? I certainly do!
The featured stamp set today is called Gone Fishing, and it’s a sweet little set, with a really good price point. It’s going to be released on Friday. long to wait now! I have just used the fish today, but there’s also a fishing rod in the set. I have stamped most of the lures in the set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and coloured them in a rainbow with Copics, with one main addition. Every single image also has some YR21, which is a rich buttery gold added to it. It gives all the images a lovely glow, and brings them together as a set. I cut each of the images out with the matching Gone Fishing Dies.
The background is made with a new Embossing Folder called Buffalo Plaid. You can see the texture in the photo above. I had to lose focus on the lures to show you the lovely texture of this folder. This is going to be a favourite, I know it. I’ve already used it an ridiculous number of times, getting ready for the new release. I used some jute twine and wrapped it around the background panel twice before adding the lures with foam tape. The sentiment comes from the same set, and I’ve stamped that with Versafine Onyx Black ink, which is a really deep black.
