Hi Everyone! DT Kimberly here today to share a card. For my card today I am using one of the cute bears from the Sunflowers stamp set, coordinating dies and paired with the So Sorry stamp set.
I try to not miss birthdays but you know, sometimes it happens. The So Sorry stamp set is perfect for such an occasion. I started by stamping the bear in brown ink on kraft card stock, then coloring with Prisma color pencils and added some white gel pen accents. Next, I die cut the bow for the bear with the coordinating die. I used my mini misti to stamp the “Sorry” sentiment in brown ink several times to make sure it’s bold.
Next, I stamped the “I Missed Your Birthday” with the same ink below the “Sorry”. Then I added a border around the card edge with a copic multiliner. I decided to also add a few hearts above the bear and a ladybug, from the Sunflowers stamp set, and also to the inside the card. These are also colored with colored pencils. Finally, I finished the card by adding the die cut bow and some white gel pen accents to the “Sorry” sentiment to help it stand out a bit more.
I always enjoy the look of a kraft card. I hope this has inspired you today.
